Monster Auction Thank You.

There are days when you are proud of your community and Friday night last was one of those days. Our Monster Auction was thanks to everyone a huge success. And we just want to thank everyone who was involved.
(1) We want to acknowledge the huge effort being put in by the club officers and parent committee, they had everyone working hard together on a number of projects.
(2)There was a subcommittee set up at the beginning of the year to run a major fundraiser. They chose to run the Monster Auction and have worked relentlessly since then on the event.
(3)Want to thank Kevin and the crew in the Bunker Bar for setting up the room Marc and Caroline from king and Moffatt for all the admin and tech help.
(4) We want to give a massive thank you to all the people who gave items for the auction. (Also need to thank the members who went out to their contacts outside the area and got items) we had nearly 100 items on the night and it was amazing. Thank you.
(5)We want to thank the people who attended the auction in person on the night both members but especially all the non-members. You guys were amazing and bid your hearts out. Thank you.
(6) We want to thank all the people who attended online. This was a part of the event that we were worried about and feared it wouldn’t work, but ye stepped up and bid on nearly every item on the night. Thank you.
(7) We want to thank the people who couldn’t be in the room or on line but left us with funds to spend on their behalf. Thanks for your trust and support. Finally thanks to our “Auctioneer” on the night. Pat King came up with the whole idea; he was Chairman of the sub Committee that organised it. He used a lot of resources in his business to develop the event, he gathered more Items from his contacts than anyone else and also had more bidders than anyone else. Without Pat this event would not have been the massive success it was. We hoped to raise 25K, it would have been great to raise 30K but we actually raised over 40k on the night.
