What a great success Last weekend’s Taylor Services competition has been. Last year there were 98 players, this year we had an amazing 147 players. Thanks again to Taylor Cleaning services who put up a huge prize fund of €1,000. The 5 club competition has really captured the imagination of the club. Last weekend’s Competition was The Maher Cup which was very kindly sponsored by The Oarsman Bar & Restaurant The Oarsman is a multi- award winning Michelin Guide Bar & Restaurant, with fine wines, craft beers and local organic and sustainable food, it is situated on Bridge Street. It sports a splendid atmosphere , attentive staff, great food and music. Regardless of what you choose from the menu you will not be disappointed, the fish dishes are a sure fire hit while everything else is also fantastic and the breads baked on site are simply to die for.
