The results on Thursday the 7th November were:- 1st Albert Hogg with 35 points (back 9) in second place Donal Collins also with 35 points, Damien Duignan came third with 33 points. A very successful outing took place to Strandhill on Monday the 11th November with 32 members taking part in a Texas Scramble Stableford competition. The overall winning team members were:- Albert Hogg; Seamus Sweeney; Sean Martin and Francie Foley with 45 points (back 9). In second place team members were:- Robbie Donaldson; Seán Mc Monagle; Charlie Farrell and John Burke also with 45 points. Tommie Mulvey; Damien Duignan; Tom Martin and Ken Moran came third with 44points.

The overall winner last Thursday was Frank McGrath with 39 points. Category one winner was Albert Hogg with 36 points; Category two Paddy Duffy with 35 points and Category three was won by Francie Foley with 28 points. The front nine was won by Leo Kavanagh with 19 points and the back nine was won by John Kelly also with 19 points. Golf as usual next Thursday.

Last weekend the ladies club hosted the Roscommon cup at the club. The team won this competition last year. Ladies teams from Boyle Strokestown Castlerea Athlone competed. The Ladies would like to thank all who organised this event. Thanks to the Bar and Restaurant staff who provided hot meals. The Carrick Ladies team were as follows.
