A very successful outing took place to Slieve Russell on Monday the 19th June. It was a Texas Scramble Stableford Competition with 11 teams of 3 taking part. The overall winning team members were:- Tommy Mulvey, Dermot Monaghan and Liam O’Malley with an excellent score of 51 points. The runner up team members were:- Albert Hogg, Barry Donnellan and Jim Newcombe with 46 points. In third place was Reggie Carroll, Paddy Dillon and John Burke CK with 46 points. The following were the winners last Thursday:- The overall winner was Eamonn Costello with 37 points. Category winners:- Category 1 Michael Keville 35 points; Category 2 Damien Duignan 37 points and Category 3 Tom Owens with 37 points. Michael Delorey won the front 9 with 18 points and the back 9 was won by Albert Hogg with 22 points. Golf as usual next Thursday.

Our Barton Shield was in action in the first round in Castlebar last weekend. They were unlucky not to make the semi-finals. The team were as follows. Team Captain David McDermott Danny Egan and Sean Mulvey. Dylan Beirne and Nathan Flynn. The club would like to thank the team for their excellent effort.
