The Late Esther Feely.

When the news filtered through of the untimely death of our own beloved past Lady Captain & past Club President Esther the total shock & huge sense of loss was felt by all who knew her. Esther was a beautiful, gentle, dignified, gracious, elegant person- a true lady who touched our lives in so many ways on or off the course. However, when it came to golf she was a most able and competitive player who represented her club at all levels proving to be a most formidable opponent. Her swing was the envy of many but she was always helpful and encouraging to the fledglings. Both herself and Peter served the Club so well in both serving roles as Captains & Presidents- the first husband and wife duo to do so. To you Peter, Aengus, Roberta, FelimyAnn, Peter, Lewis, Fergus, Fanchea, Finbar, your extended family & adored grandchildren we are so sorry for the unfillable void. Esther may your beautiful gentle soul always be straight down the middle of the fairways in Heaven RIP – we miss you.
