Another Connaught medal for Carrick on Shannon Golf Club.Patrick Martin son of Philip & Annmarie proudly represented his club in the Golf Ireland Under 15 Close Championship which was held recently at Mountbellew Golf Club.Patrick Tuffy from Strandhill came first with a score of 38 points, Patrick Martin came a close second with 36 points. Patrick represents his Club again this month when He plays with our Carrick Junior Cup team at the All Ireland semi finals in Mannon Castle in Co. Monaghan. Charlie Boyle who also plays in the Junior Cup team represented Carrick in the U16 Boys event. We wish the young men & their team the best of luck in the all Ireland semi finals.
