The ladies club would like to thank the Talbot Families for their very generous sponsorship of the Maria Talbot Cup. Congrats to all the winners. Senior Results

The overall winner last Thursday was Gerry Emmett with a score of 37 points. Category one winner was Frank McGrath with 34 points, Category two was won by Michael Duignan with 34 points and Category three was won by Seamus Sheeran with 31 points. The front nine was won by Pascal McGuire with 18 points and the back nine was won by Robbie Donaldson with 16 points, golf as usual next Thursday

Senior Results

The overall winner on Thursday 28th March was Damien Duignan with a score of 21 points. Michael Keville came second with 20 points and third place was won by Gerry Emmett with 20 points. Last Thursday’s competition was played over the old nine twice and the overall winner was our Captain Pascal McGuire with a score of 42 points. Category 1 winner was Pat Gannon with 38 points, Category 2 was won by Damien Duignan with 40 points and Michael Duignan won Category 3 with a score of 35 points. The front nine was won by Robbie Donaldson with 21 points and Tommy Mulvey won the back nine with 20 points. Our first outing of the season will be on Monday the 15th April to Castle Dargan with the first tee at 9.40am, this will be a 4 man scramble. We look forward to a good number of players in attendance on the day. Golf as usual nexxt Thursday.

Carrick-on-Shannon Junior Golf Registration and Information Night.

With the time changing and the last few days of dry weather, we can finally turn our minds to sunnier, dryer days ahead. Carrick on Shannon Junior Golf are making some changes this year to their junior programme. There will be two registration and information evenings for the parents of the junior golfers. It is mandatory that one parent attend one of the evenings for your child to partake in the programme. We look forward to seeing you all on either Monday the 27th or Thursday the 30th of May (7pm each night) in the club house. Junior Lessons start Monday 10th of June. [image: image.png]

Good Luck Dylan Beirne in West of Ireland Championships.

Best wishes to Dylan Beirne who makes his debut at 7.40am on Good Friday in the West of Ireland Championship in Rosses Point. The West is one of the most prestigious Amateur championships in the country which includes past winners of Padraig Harrington and Rory McIlroy!!! Anyone who knows Dylan knows the time and effort he puts into his game and this hard work is coming to fruition after qualifying for such an event. Wishing Dylan all the very best from all in Carrick Golf Club.

Seniors Results.

The season got off to a start last Thursday after a long wet winter recess. Our new Captain is Pascal McGuire and we wish Pascal the very best of good luck during the year ahead. Thursday’s competition was over nine holes with 12 members competing. The winner was Robert Donaldson with 19 points. In second place Michael Keville with 17 points and Gerry Emmett came third with 14 points. Our outgoing Captain Seán Martin went beyond the call of duty for the past two years. We thank Seán for his support every Thursday and on monthly away outings. We wish Seán the best of good luck in the future. Golf as usual nexxt Thursday.
