NCBI Granard Cup next weekend…format is Four-ball better ball, each player’s PH will be 85% of CH…competition will be set up on computer which will do calculation …two players play as a team V two others…..the lowest score of your team on each hole goes on the card…if you already know you can’t beat your partner’s score on a hole, you can pick up…..entry €10 per person(€20) per team)…winning pair go to Regional Final, and hopefully then to All Ireland in Mullingar 15th September.

The following were the winners last Thursday:- Overall winner Dermot McNamara with 40 points. Category 1 winner was John O’Mahony with 39 points; Category 2 Leo Cavanagh 40 points and Category 3 winner was Eamonn Costello with 38 points. The front 9 was won by Sean McMonagle with 21 points and the back 9 was won by Donal Collins with 21 points. Golf as usual next Thursday.
