Last weekend’s Gent’s’s single Stableford competition over Saturday & Sunday. This was also a Golfer of the Year comp. Which was sponsored by Brendan Kieran, Kierans totalhealth Pharmacy. Brendan Kieran is a third generation pharmacist who took over the family business in Carrick-on-Shannon in 2001. His grandfather Patrick set up his first pharmacy in Ballinamore in 1920 and in later years expanded into Drumshanbo and Ballyconnell. His father Brendan set up in Carrick in 1968. In 2001 Brendan moved to the current location and in 2004 expanded the business and opened in Mohill. Both stores are growing from strength to strength with strong support from staff and the local community. Brendan is proud to be a native of Carrick-on-Shannon and to continue the strong family tradition of serving the community and sponsoring this Competition.
