Ladies Play in Pink Wednesday Scramble Results.

Ladies, thank you to all who played in and donated to our Wednesday 9 Hole Scramble. 1st Teresa Duignan, Helen Martin & Catherine Moreton with 30 nett. 2nd Carmel Stritch, Mary Moreton & Marese Monaghan 31 nett. Best dressed lady goes to Molly Daly. Lady Captain Anne will present prizes on Friday evening next at 7.30 pm. Also tomorrow or Friday if you would like to play the 15 hole Play in Pink Stableford Competition just book online as normal and entry fee will be taken from your purse. Thank you everyone and we will update you with the final tally for Breast Cancer Research once the competitions are played.

Ladies Results Barry Donnellan Sponsored.

The Ladies club is very grateful to Barry Donnellan for his very generous sponsorship of our recent competition. The results are as follows. 1st Patrice Gallagher 41pts 2nd Phil Emmett 38pts (B9) Gross Ann Keenan. 3rd Lisa Casey 38pts. Congrats to all the winners. Also congrats to Noelle O’Keeffe who won the Friday 9 hole competition with an excellent score of 18 pts.

Gents Joe Simon Hardware sponsorship Results.

The club would like to thank Joe Simon Hardware Boyle for his very generous sponsorship of a recent competition. The results are as follows. Overall winner with an excellent score of 46 pts was Steve Doherty. Division 1 winner Alan Ffrench 40pts (B9) Division 2 winner Colm Meath Griffin 39pts. Congrats to all the winners.

Senior Results

The overall winner on Thursday the 22nd August was Michael Delorey with 35 points, Category one winner was Albert Hogg with 33 points, Seamus Mulhern won Category two with 28 points and Category three was won by Michael Duignan with 26 points. The front nine was won by Paddy Duffy with 18 points and Gerry Emmett won the back nine with 17 points. Last Thursday ground conditions were very poor due to continuous rain and the competition was held over the original nine holes. The overall winner was Dermot Conlon with 39 points Category one was won by Gerry Emmett with 31 points, Charlie Farrell won Category two with 39 points and Donal Collins won Category three with 34 points. The front nine was won by Damien Duignan with 20 points and the back nine was won by John Kelly with 18 points. The next away outing will be an overnight stay in Westport with golf on Monday the 23rd September in Westport and golf in Castlebar on Tuesday the 24th. Golf as usual next Thursday..

Connacht Shield Inter Club Results.

Our Connacht Shield team were playing Co Sligo Golf club in the second round of the Connacht Shield Last Sunday. Congrats to the team on a brilliant 3 1 win. The Team was as follows. Team Captain Pat King. Team John Coffey and Tom McGuinness. David McDermott and Paul Kelleher. Aaron Gibney and Damien Quigley. Niall Loftus and Marc McDermott. Reserves Paul Roche and Ciaran Curley. Cecil Ewing Inter Club Results

Congrats to our Cecil Ewing team who had an excellent win over Boyle last Wednesday Evening. The Team were as follows Team Captain John Coffey. Away Damien Duignan and Cathal Dowd. Charlie Farrell and Jimmy Deane. Home Colm and Declan Loftus. Martin Talbot and Enda McDermott. The next round is against Strokestown on Sunday 1st of September at 1pm. Arigna Fuels Sponsored Gents Results

The club would like to thank the management of Arigna Fuels for their very generous sponsorship of last weekend’s gent’s competition. The results are as follows: overall winner was Damien Cosgrave with an excellent score of 65nett. Division 1 winner was Liam Bruen 70nett. Gross was Dylan Beirne 73 . Division 2 winner was Callum McGirl 68nett.
