Congrats to our own Patrick Martin who represented Ireland in the Faldo Series in the City of Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The Faldo Series is a Worldwide Golf competition aimed at developing and helping young Golf talent. 92 players represented 33 countries at the Finals. Patrick played in the under 16 section and also the overall section. After the first two rounds Patrick was joint 2 nd . After the 3 rd and final round Patrick Finished Joint 3 rd which was an excellent finish in the under 16 section.All in Carrick Golf Club are very proud of Patricks Achievements.

3-Man Waltz Results. We had a full-on McDermott standoff last weekend with both teams shooting an impressive 53 points and only separated after a tight countback. I promise you lads, Tom Taylor, our very efficient competition secretary, checked every conceivable way on the computer to try and swing it back to the Thatch, but the numbers wouldn’t budge! Winners : David McDermott, Marc McDermott & Liam Bruen.(Each received a €70 voucher for Gerard Anthony Menswear ) Runners-up (on countback) Enda McDermott, Gerrard McDermott & Callum McGirl. Well done to both teams on a fantastic performance!
