Seniors 1st Outing To Longford Results.
The Seniors held their first outing of the season to longford golf club. Thanks to all who traveled to make the day a sucess. Ladies Australian Spoons Qualifier.
*Australian Spoons qualifier is on this week end June 6th, 7th & 8th.* The format is Greensomes(Scotch) Foursomes means each player drives, you choose the best drive and its alternate shots, Stableford. Handicap Index(HI)Playing Handicap(PH). Course Handicap(CH).PH is calculated by adding 60% of lower CH to 40% of higher CH(No handicap limit).Current HI used to calculate CH on day of competition. The winning pair will represent the Club at the Connacht Qualifier on Wednesday 23rd July in Loughrea. The final will take place on Monday 25 August in Longford Golf Club.

Gents Bank Holiday Results.
A Large crowd of visitors and members played in the Gents open competition over the Bank Holiday weekend. Their were 2 separate competitions which proved to be a great success. First competition was played over Saturday and Sunday the Carrick Carnival Open and the results were as follows. 1st was Owen O’Donoghue Boyle with an excellent score of 41pts. 2nd Marc McDermott 36pts. Gross David McDermott 32pts. 3rd Daniel Egan Claremorris 36pts. In the second competition played over Sunday and Monday 1st with an excellent score was Sean Walsh 39pts. 2nd Peadar Griffin 38pts.
