There were actually 179 players in this week’s competition. These figures are a fantastic indication of the current trajectory of Carrick on Shannon Golf Club. The product on offer continues to improve and word is spreading. Scoring was amazing and there were some truly impressive rounds of golf played. When the gun was to their heads some players stood up and were counted big time. On the other hand, some lads wilted like cut meadow on a sunny day.
