Ladies Maher Cup Results.

Senior’s Update.

Last Monday the Seniors held their 2nd outing to Claremorris which was a great success. Thanks to all the members who travelled. O.B.N Series Second Round Sponsored by Taylors Cleaning.

The second round of OBN series is fast approaching the weekend of the 12-13 of July. It is generously sponsored by Taylor cleaning services. The Taylor Cleaning Competition” it’s an open stableford competition, off both the white and green tees. It’s open to entry for 3 days Friday to Sunday (to attract as many visitors as possible) there will be 7 prizes including gross and category prizes. There will be a separate entry and prize pot for players to be on the 17th green in one shot (everyone who enters this and holds the 17th green will receive their % of the prize pot) Taylor cleaning is putting up €1,000 in sponsorship and we are very grateful for this amazing support. Loads of visitor bonus points to be had this week guys.

O.B.N Series First Round Sponsored By Curamach Strings Ltd. Results.

So the first of the 2025 OBN series qualifiers is complete. The Curamach strings event has been a great success. At this point the club wants to say a big thank you to David, Noel and Mark McDermott for putting up €1,000 in sponsorship for this event. Also want to thank them for creating the unique format that captured everyone’s attention. There were 50 teams (100 players) 16 of the players were visitors. This far exceeds the numbers in any of the qualifiers last year and gives the organisers of the series great encouragement that the whole idea is working. The Results of the first round are as follows. 1st with an excellent score was Niall Hanley & Devin Hanley 48pts (B6) 2nd with also an excellent score was Father and Son Team of Paul O’Brien & Adam O’Brien 48pts (B6) 3rd with also an excellent score was Garreth McDaid &; Enda Henry 48pts. 4th Seamus Sheeran & Jason Loftus 46pts. 5th Tommy Aherne & Kevin Cusack 45pts.The following Players entered the 2’s competition in the curamach strings competition and shared a 300 euro pot Leo Noone Cathal Dowd Mick Blake John Hardiman Keith Tighe Damien Quigley Hugh Gralton Michael Gallagher Alan Ffrench Philip Martin.
