Week 1 of the spring league will run from Monday 3rd of February till Sunday the 8th of February. Each week, the best 5 cards from each team will contribute to the team’s score. At least one lady’s card must be included in the team’s weekly total. Each player will be permitted to enter a maximum of two cards per week, one weekly entry and one re-entry. On last Friday 31st January we held a celebration dinner and social evening to recognise the relaunch of our revamped Golf Club & Bar, run by our new proprietor Tegi. Many of you will know Tegi from her previous restaurant and tea rooms in Bridge Street, Carrick on Shannon. It was also an opportunity for us to launch the golfing season, in advance of the commencement of the Spring League. The night was excellent with a large crowd of over 80 members and friends present. Thanks to Tegi and her excellent team for the lovely food served on the Night.
